Wow, a new vid!  This was requested by Katrin, who won me in a charity auction.  Definitely one of the hardest songs I've ever vidded, but I enjoyed the final outcome.  I actually finished it in February, the day before giving birth to my son though - so sorry for the long wait in posting ;)

K Hanna Korossy is running a charity auction to help out a fellow writer who is in need of a wheelchair.  There are 22 fanfic writers with stories up for bid, and two vidders.  Swing by and check it out - bidding closes on 7/12!

My husband pointed out that scanning the autographs would work much better *facepalm* so I did that today and uploaded them for those who are interested.  On Gabriel's, if you read my recap you'll know that I talked to him about his Dodgers playing my Cubbies that weekend, so that's the reference on his autograph. 

The Cubs last made it to the World Series in 1945.  During Game 4, a fan brought his goat with him (the goat had a ticket!) to the game.  He was allowed to enter with this goat, but they were ejected after rain started and people complained about the "wet goat" smell.  The legend goes that the goat's owner laid a curse on the Cubs that they would never win the Series again - and they haven't.  So that's the story of the curse of the goat, and I really appreciated that very personal touch to the autograph :)  Have I mentioned how awesome Gabriel was?!

OK!  Recap!  First though, many thanks to wolfpup for the awesome price on my Gold ticket :)  You are the best!

And here are my pics.  My camera, I learned, isn't great for cons...I love it in my day to day life, but the lighting wasn't great and I needed a tripod.  But hopefully they are enjoyable anyway :)  I included links to a couple of them in my recap, when they pertained to something I was writing about - add a little extra flavor ;)  And that's it for now!  Hubby has the camera this weekend at ROT Rally, so I haven't been able to get pics of my autographs yet.  So I'll post those later...

I'm cobbling this together from a few places.  SiFi's blitz idea, dreamhorizon's LJ and icymorning's post on Dean_Sam.  I'm very concerned about no reruns on the CW for Supernatural after it airs its final fresh episode.  I realize they may be trying to drum up support for Reaper, which has had disappointing numbers, but taking SN completely off the air is a slap in the face.  Here are a couple ways to support the show:

It's time to start sending rock salt, kosher salt, morton salt, any kind of salt you want; it should be sent directly to Dawn Ostroff at the address listed above.

There should be an accompanying notice to the woman stating that once the final fresh ep of Supernatural has been aired; and until such a time as repeats of Supernatural's episodes are ALLOWED to air in their NORMAL time slot... that on Thursdays from 7 pm on that NO SUPERNATURAL fan will turn on the CW for ANY reason. Not Smallville, Not Reaper, Not anything... if it's NOT Supernatural.

call it a one day a week Viewer's strike. (Hell personally I'd suggest boycotting the whole station in perpetuity if they won't let Supernatural re-air eps, or if they won't renew it)

The second address is for Warner Bros. which owns CW.  Apparently the WB execs were instrumental in SN getting a new season when Dawn O wanted it cancelled.  (The WB apparently makes a good bit of money off of SN DVD sales.)

There is a link there for WB customer service.  Follow the instructions given on the savesupernatural page--"under the "THIS IS REGARDING" field select the "QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS REGARDING THE CW NETWORK OR ITS SHOWS" option"

Since we would like the WB to help us I would suggest making the messages polite and well thought out.  Remember that the CW's announced schedule does not mean SN is completely cancelled, and the fact that the new SN episodes are being saved for 'sweeps' is a good thing...but this whole thing has me very very nervous. '

The Supernatural Fandom has proven to be a dedicated and passionate community...raise your voice and be heard! Sign this petition if you want The CW to air SUPERNATURAL repeats instead of The Reaper so that our show remains accessible to new viewers!

I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Wow, it's been awhile since I had a Supernatural vid to post!  This one started way back in August, and I got more than a little sidetracked.  Along the way, my muse also took a little vacation, it would seem.  But hopefully he's back.  And hopefully y'all enjoy this one!  Comments are always snuggled tight.  And the muse adores them, too!

Sorry I haven't been around too much, but life has been crazy busy this past month for me!!  Hopefully things will start to calm down a little bit soon.  But I had to come post and ask for your votes for BOTB at Divine Awards.  Breathe Me, Forsaken, No Fear and The Bitter End are all up for awards, yay!

Hope everyone had a great Halloween and I'll wish you an early Happy Thanksgiving, just in case life doesn't slow down in the near future ;)

My brother's wife just had their first baby, a little girl named Ava!  This is my first niece, I have two nephews on my husband's side of the family, so I'm pretty excited :)  They live in California, and we'll be flying there for Thanksgiving, so it'll be a little bit before I get to see her in person, but I'm told she's beautiful - and I'm sure there's no bias!

I'm a huge baseball fan - I love my Chicago Cubs!  And they just clinched the NL Central division yesterday!!!  I'm very excited - here's hoping they handle the playoffs a little better than they did in 2003.  Cuz that was an ugly meltdown, one I would like to not repeat.

No new violations, so that's good!  I'm working on getting my DVD's uploaded so I can start working on KazCon charity vid - I wanted to do it clean, no station logos.  This will be the very first time I'm making a vid with 100% clean material...well, it'll last for a week or so, until the new episodes start airing and I'm using them, lol!

Don't forget, if you have a Papa Roach vid, any fandom, to submit it for the theme round at DPTM.  We only have one entry so far, which surprises me.
