The play was great! I met a few of the LJ folks beforehand, a couple of whom had already seen the play at least once. They said that the audiences had been very polite, only some clapping and squeeing when LDP and JA first make their appearances, which was true for my show too. JA's first line is "SAM!" - pretty funny! Of course, we have Sam and Jo as his fellow lawyers, so it must have made memorizing lines that much easier. We were 3rd row, but kind of on the side. In all honesty, not the best seats - hard to see everything on the stage. If I ever see a play there again, I'll try to be further back and more centered, if at all possible. First half we could see better, and I saw crinkles up close and personal! The second half was the courtroom part, so there were tables almost directly in front of us, but it was still fun. JA and LDP both put in fantastic performances and seemed to be having a lot of fun in the process. JA hit the comedic points easily, we all know he has great comedic timing. And he was great with the drama, of course. Well worth the ticket money and 3 hour drive!

During intermission, I did see his girlfriend, Danneel Harris, both in the restroom and in the drink line. She looked very pretty and seemed kind of shy. Once I realized that she was there, I saw her in the audience at the end - she was very cute, clapping so hard for JA :)

Afterwards, we did go to the Stage Door. LDP came out first, and unfortunately I only have one pic of my own, but I'm supposed to get some from another girl who was there. Of course, I left the new batteries for my camera in the car (DOH!) and my camera died. Fortunately, I managed to get some from another fan right before JA came out. Lou was VERY personable and funny, he answered a lot of questions from the crowd and signed everyone's playbills. He will be in Camelot coming up and touring, and if you watch Psych, he's going to be in the season premiere. My friend knew a couple of the girls who were there, and one of them had brought photos to be signed, and Lou was like "Oh, wow, great picture! I loved that shirt, I wonder whatever happened to it!?" Like I said, very personable :)

They annouced before JA came out that he only had a few minutes. He came out and signed everyone's playbills, but moved pretty fast. He said he was excited about the upcoming season and urged us to keep telling friends about the show. One of the girls said she'd heard a woman in the restroom say he was so cute, she was going to have to start watching SN, which he laughed about. Someone asked what it was like to say "Sam" and have to look down, and he laughed and mentioned that JP had been there earlier in the week. JP told him that every time he heard Jensen say "Sam," he'd perk up - LOL! He was asked when Ten Inch Hero would be released and he said he wasn't sure if it would see wide release, but it was making the film festival rounds. Said he'd had a lot of fun working on it.  I remembered another question. Someone said, "We call the Impala Metallicar, what do you and Jared call it?" JA said, "The third lead!"  Hehe, we agreed!  I'm trying to recall what other questions he answered, but he was moving fast and didn't answer them all. He said he had to go get some sleep (by this time it was about midnight) for the last two shows tomorrow, then he was going to sleep for the next month :)
